I went to my pre-registration clinic today at the hospital here in Cambridge. I was pleased to find out that they have hired a new anaethesiologist and so I should have no worries about an epidural (whew!) The staff seemed friendly and I liked that they allowed the babies to stay in the rooms with the mothers (unless there's a complication, of course) Now we have to decide who the other person is going to be that is in with me while I'm in labor. I'm hoping my daughter, Lisa, decides to be there. I think it would be a memorable experience for her.
Peanut is EXTREMELY active and is making his/her rounds each night, making sure there's no place that hasn't been explored. We are already playing a game - if we push and poke where we know Peanut is, he/she will poke back! It's pretty cool. It's to the point where you can actually see the movement externally on my stomach. Makes for and interesting after-dinner activity!
It's no wonder we can feel and see everything! Peanut now weighs about 2 pounds and measures over a foot in total length. Whoa baby!
