A doctor's appointment revealed that the ultrasound showed good results. Peanut is the correct size and all the parts look to be in good working order. We were hoping that the doctor could tell us the sex, but unfortunately he did not actually get to see the pictures that were taken. We are hoping for another chance at an ultrasound in a month or so and maybe even get a video. Maybe we should wait to be surprised, but I think we just want to plan ahead, and be able to call the baby he or she and not "it".
I sang in our local Fall Fair this week, and boy did I really notice the difference in energy and lung capacity. But it was fun and my friends and Csaba were very supportive. I am sure that this baby will be musical, with two parents who will be sharing the gift and love of music. Peanut can hear us now, and we try to talk in calm voices and to play calm, soothing music. I have already picked out music to play during the birth to help me relax. Two of my favorites are Enya and Jim Brickman.
